We had ten hours for the first season, and the same for the second. Boardwalk Empire has twelve, Treme has twelve — if we’d had two more hours we could have told a lot more of the story. Storm of Swords the third book is enormous and it will have to be broken up into two seasons, I think. But David and Dan are great people and they’ve assembled a great team, so if anyone can do it, they will.
It makes it a lot of fun. I read that you like a few other TV shows. I read that you like theGame of thrones dvd show too?
OMG. I love, love, love it! I watch the whole show and watch it two more times right after. I love the details, I love the cast. The amazing cast! It’s just so great, everything they do — the costumes, the writing. They are so good about adapting it from the book and putting it to the script. The actors are impeccable because I see what I’ve read. It’s just amazing. I love it, I love it, I love it. I can’t wait. I mean, they jacked me a little bit The dragon eggs hatched and she came out the fire last season? So I’m like dying for that show to come back on.

He’s a human and he starts to fall in love with Wander, the alien, not Melanie, who is his friend’s girlfriend, but is assumed lost because Wanderer has taken over her body.
With Saoirse Ronan already locked in for Andrew Niccol’s The Host, the search is on for two handsome young lads to play the male leads. Jake Abel has just been selected for the part of Ian, beating out several competitors including Dane DeHaan (The Place Beyond the Pines), Thomas McDonnell (Prom), and Augustus Prew (Charlie St. Cloud).
Dinklage has met with Cooper a few times about the project, but more to develop a bond than to discuss the particulars. “It’s ongoing. We haven’t pulled any knives on each other yet!” he joked, referring to how Villechaize kept Gervasis doing the interview longer than he intended. “Sometimes it’s tricky to just show up for the first day, so it’s good to have the time together first, and we’ll have more when we get into the project.”
This may not come as a surprise, since almost every well-known screen actor to come out the United Kingdom trained at its best drama schools; but Rose has a pretty good pedigree: she trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, aka LAMDA. She graduated with honors in 2008, too, and she tackled such meaty roles as Yelena in Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya and the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet while she was there. Furthermore, she graced the stage of none other than Shakespeare’s Globe in Nell Leyshon’s new play Bedlam about the notorious London lunatic asylum last fall. Critics described Rose in Bedlam as “genuinely poignant as the beautiful country girl driven mad by lost love.”
