Why do new CDs/Dvds smell like Maple Syrup?
This has been seriously getting to me lately.
Every time I open the stack of DVDs (Y’know the ones you buy in the store, they’re stacked up in a case) to burn something, the smell of maple syrup wafts out of the container and I become hungry for waffles. =d
Just wondering what causes this smell in new packages of discs.
Yeah. I know I’m a strange one.
Most packs of CDs are packaged in Vermont. The smell probably gets sealed into the packaging.
